Not bad... not good either...

Those flash effects really clashed with the video footage. If'n you do this kind of stuff again, I'd suggest adding a transparency to the lasers to make them more realistic. And those damned stick men just killed it.

And I'm running a 1.5 Ghz Pentium 4 system and the sounds was way off. I seriously doubt that it is the viewer's machine's fault, but I'm sure using streaming audio would help.

Hope that was helpful.

It IS that short!

Your animation is great, but with simple characters like that you shoulda been able to make it LONGER.

we shoulda, but we dinna.

Another Cookie Cutter movie

Nothing really new, or original here. Stail story and storytelling goin' on. Also, there was a real lack of any animation here. I'd assume an Apache's rotors would be rotating in flight... There were a lot of actions missing sound effects. I dunno if'n you were going for that, or not, but it really distracted from the movie. The story seemed to have "pointless action movie logic" with stuff like the hero actually EJECTING from an attack helicopter, and actually being able to stow a hangglider inside it. And last but not least... STICK FIGURES?! Come on man! With the shear lack of real animation, you shoulda had the time to draw real characters...

Just another lack luster stick movie...

Needs... work...

You might wanna work on character animations some more. The mouth movements were off a lot and seemed you placed them over their existing mouths. Plus, the voice acting was VERY monotone...

Style?

It's original, I'll give you that. Yet there wasn't much to it. When I heard the word "noir" associated to it, I thought there'd be little story but a deep meaning. Sadly, there was niether. It was too short to really tell either of them. If there was some deep underlying meaning, could ya tell me, 'cause I feel dumb for not gettin' it. Also, the violence was rated low because seemed pointless. Just some guy shooting another. And then throwing a knife at him after hes dead....

Not my cup o' tea...

I tend to hate stick movies, even though they seem to be getting more and more advanced. Yet there were few things (involving the sticks that is) that I liked. I did like the traced bitmap picture of the AH64 Apaches and the Humvees, and some o' the other drawings, but the faces and mouths on the sticks sucked. The only verdict I have for you is don't do anymore stick movies. You have the potential to make good stuff, just not the badly drawn stick men.

How the hell did that happen?!

A sprite comic that was put together well, animated well, had decent graphics, and actually made me LAUGH? That's NEVER happened before. I dun' say this much but keep it UP!

So where is the originality, anyways?

The animation was alright, as was the art, but as far as the audio goes, everything but the speech was pretty bad. Perhaps add some music at the begining. Also the text at the end was pretty cheap looking. Ya might wanna cut out the buttons and do some fading in and out without them. No real style points though because this lacked originality, which really kills any cloned movie in my eyes.

And lastly, the thing that actually offended me about this movie was the disclaimer. I wasn't offended by the speech edit the FIRST time I saw it but I didn't think it was funny. I guess it's one of those things only people who like fart jokes and watching stick figures beat each other would find funny.

It means nothing without style.

Well, ya dun' get any style props from me on this one. A lil' originality would have been good on this one. Of course I'm prejuidice against stick movies so that's why I graded the graphics so low. The animation was alright, but it's hard to mess up animation on stick figures of course. The sound was okay too but some of the clips had choppy static, like the chopper sfx. Also, I HATE those mac computer voices. But thats just my personal hatred for macs showing.

Now for me to stop being a jerk and do the helpful stuff. What bothered me was that orange clock too a spill and when he fell, it looked like he turned into a paper cut out. Plus, the stick fellow reloaded his DE Special even though he hadn't shot anything yet... Just nit pickin'.

Anyway, keep it up, I guess. Hop to see something more than sticks from ya in the future. You've got potential.

Kevin Smith is rolling around in his grave!

... Well, if he were dead he would. Anyway, more to it than a stick movie, so I'll give you somethin', but all the art seemed to be worse than the Clerk comics! And the animation looked like it took 5 minutes to put together. Although the sound was ripped and used well, I'd say this was an average attempt.

If you lived here, you'd be in hell right now!
